Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta” star Tommie Lee is receiving an abundance of love from fans after sharing an interview that documented the tough times in her life.

The 34-year-old mother has been in the public eye for her recent legal troubles, but folks still seem determined to see the good in Lee. On Feb. 21, she shared a now-deleted post, a snippet of an interview that shined a light on her childhood and family.

Lee grew up in New Jersey and explained that she still visits her hometown from time-to-time. She noted that one of her uncles that she’s in contact with still “answers the door with a gun or bat.” The reality star also indicated that she visits her “hood” often to remain in touch with her roots. It’s unknown if the snippet of Lee’s life story is a documentary or if its set to premiere anytime soon. However, fans said the 59 second clip shined light to her seemingly troublesome childhood.

“This explains why she is the way she is,” one Instagram user wrote. “Nothing wrong with being who u r when u kno where u come from ❤️.”

“You have such a good soul and you’re as real as they come,” another added. “I hope you pull through your demons 💖.”

“Is this a documentary? 😍 I can’t wait to watch,” another said. “I relate to her I guess that’s why I like her so much, keep your head up champ.”

Since joining “LHHATL” in 2016, Lee who’s been arrested more than 30 times, opened up about the hardships she’s experienced throughout her life including sexual abuse, negligence by her mother and struggling with excessive drinking.

During season 7 of the VH1 reality series, the 34-year-old denied being an alcoholic, but admitted that drinking does help her “cope” with certain day-to-day pressures like working to take care of her family. She claimed “LHHATL” producers tried to make her look like the “bad guy” and once again denied having an alcohol problem.

“I don’t have a drinking problem,” Lee said. “I drink when I want to, because I’m grown. And I drink responsibly. I will continue drink as much as I want to.”
