“T.I. & Tiny: Friends and Family Hustle” actress Toya Wright is determined to shed a few pounds, although her fans think her physique is absolutely “perfect.”
The mother of two was spotted wearing her waist-belt while going hard at the gym with her beau Robert Rushing to reach her 15-pound weight loss goal. She shared a video of her rigorous workout routine on Instagram this week, showing her “first day back in the gym” since seemingly restarting her fitness journey.
“My first day back. … My goal is to lose 15 pounds…. I can do it!” Wright wrote in her video caption on Feb. 25. “It’s great to have a partner that keeps you motivated. #letsgo #backonmyshit #wnm19 #boocamp.”
In the video, the 36-year-old executed cardio and strength training exercises while also mastering squats and lunges.
Wright’s fans were encouraged by her fitness dedication.
“I think this is the encouragement I need so I can start going gym properly 🙃,” one person commented underneath the star’s video. “Go Toya. 💪🏿💪🏿 Get it in.”
“This is inspirational I need to go too😉, ” another added. “Toya you can do it stay focus 🙌.”
Other fans didn’t understand Wright’s desire to shed some extra lbs and cautioned her from becoming “too skinny.”
“Toya!! Please don’t lose 15 pounds u look beautiful jus the way you are!” one user exclaimed.
“15 lbs?” one person stated confusedly. “What you tryna to do? Don’t go Hollywood and get too damn skinny. Your perfect 🌹💪.”
“15 lbs where your not even big. Don’t lose to much and ya Ass get small😘,” another user wrote.
Wright, who gave birth to her daughter Reign Rushing in February 2018, told fans in July that she’d grown bored with going to the gym two to three times a week and hit a plateau, which prompted her also to try home workouts.
The star relies on staying fit to also help her with certain medical issues like her fibroid pain. She told People in February 2017 that she works out on a regular basis and keeps a clean diet to manage her fibroids.
“I had to scale back and eat healthier things like fish and salads,” the mother of two said. “I found exercising has been more helpful in relieving the symptoms.”
She continued, “I do a lot of cardio, like walking and cycling. At that time of the month, the fibroids flare up, and when I exercise it helps me not feel so much pain.”
