Who Wore It Best? Romeo Miller Dons the Same Turtleneck as Tracee Ellis Ross and Shoots His Shot

Growing Up Hip Hop” star Romeo Miller recently made a pass at Hollywood veteran Tracee Ellis Ross after they both were spotted donned in the same shirt.

Miller, 29, and Ross, 46, both sported a designer lime-green turtleneck while trotting around New York City.

The “Girlfriends” actress paired her bold-colored shirt with a gray oversized blazer and wide-leg pantsuit and a pair of multi-colored Louis Vuitton sneakers retailing around $980. She accessorized her ensemble with a khaki belt, an oversized leather tote, and small hoop earrings. She opted for a none-makeup look and wore her hair in a classic low bun. Ross captioned the image of attire on Instagram, “🍏 IN THE BIG 🍎 ~ in these streets” and added the hashtag “#thegirlwholovestoshop.”

Miller, who also went for slightly relaxed-casual look, paired his pale-green turtleneck with fitted black trousers, a black blazer and all-white sneakers. He went for a more simple look but added a little jazz to his getup by rocking a pair of gold sunglasses.

The child star then posted side-by-side photos of himself and Ross wearing the same green turtleneck before seemingly trying to shoot his shot at the Hollywood actress.

“That moment you realize you and your fave costar @traceeellisross got the same taste in style lol,” the 29-year-old wrote on Instagram Sunday, March 3. “This is why I told her (or maybe not) if she just married me she could wear all of my swaggy threads but this woman does not listen.”

Miller jokingly added that if he and Ross would have gotten married they wouldn’t be “wasting money on the same lime green turtleneck.”

“What a shame 🍏🤦🏽‍♂️😂 lmao,” the GUHH actor wrote with the hashtags “#MustBeTheNyAir,” “#GreatMindsThinkALike,” “#Fashion,” “#WhoWoreItBetter,” “#LimeGreen,” “#RelationshipGoals,” “#Twining” and “#ThatsBae.”

Ross has yet to respond to Miller’s attempt to holler at her, but fans definitely gave their thoughts on who wore the shirt best.

“She always got the matching kicks tho… Step ya shoe game up to T ROSS,” one Instagram user told Miller.

“You better shoot that shot! 😂😍❤️,” another user added. “Both of you look fly as ever! I say both!”

“You want a grown grown woman 😂😍,” said one fan. “#Traceeellisross I love her but @romeomiller you did it best.”

Although fans were all here for Miller shooting his shot at Ross, a few were still upset that he and “GUHH” co-star Angela Simmons have yet to make their relationship official. Both reality stars say they’re just “good friends,” with Miller saying in part that he’s trying to respect Simmons’ grieving process over the loss of her ex-fiancé Sutton Tennyson in November 2018.

“She lost somebody, and she definitely got to grieve,” he told Page Six in December. “I am not a dude to take advantage of that.”
