‘I’m Calling My Lawyer’: Kandi Burrus Fired Up at Walmart Over Third-Party Vendor Using Her Image to Sell Wigs

A third-party seller on Walmart’s website decided to use a photo of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kandi Burruss to sell a wig, and the star was not having it.

Burruss caught a listing from a seller, whose name was not included in a screenshot, for a Bowin bob lace front wig. The unit is a Brazilian virgin straight-haired wig with human hair and a pre-plucked hairline.

However, it’s not clear exactly what the wig that the vendor is actually selling looks like because they used a photo of Burruss in their listing instead.

“This is crazy! I’m calling my lawyer!😡”

Fans have chimed in on the matter and some have remarked they’ve also seen the photo used to sell wigs on online marketplace Ali Express and Amazon.

“It’s on Amazon and Ali Express too Chile 🤣 Kandi better collect that money 💯😂”

“🤣🤣🤣🤣 I saw this pic with Kandi on Aliexpress. But how could they be using somebody pic to sell wigs.”

“This is exactly why I don’t buy hair and wigs online period!”

“Go get ur coins girl.”

“get your money boo!”

Walmart has had issues with third-party vendors before over the years.

In 2018, the retailer faced backlash by some consumers when Old Glory sold an “Impeach 45” t-shirt. Boycott threats abounded at the time from folks who supported President Donald Trump, whom the shirt referred to.

Two years earlier, the same seller faced criticism for selling a shirt reading “Bulletproof Black Lives Matter.” Walmart ultimately pulled the shirt from the website after police pressured them to do so.

Both Walmart and Amazon were looped into controversy in 2017 when hopeful buyers took issue with a third-party seller’s racist color description of a hair weaving cap. The item was created by Jagazi Natural’s and was sold by Pixnor on Walmart.com and ThinkCreators on Amazon.

The cap was described as the color as “n—– brown,” and it prompted an apology from Walmart as a result.

The company is managed in four parts such as i) movies, videos etc production unit, ii) Educational Unit, iii) Event produce & management unit and iv) online management &, marketing unit. All units are worked separately but corporate each other but all dealings should be done in the name of FOCUS A-Z.
