Diana Ross turned 75 years old on Tuesday, March 26, and she was celebrated with a number of stars, plus her children Tracee Ellis Ross and Evan Ross.
The star-studded celebration went down in two different places, first at the club Warwick in Hollywood, California, then at the Hollywood Palladium, where the iconic singer hit the stage.

She also performed her hit “Stop in the Name of Love” with Sean “Diddy” Combs’ daughters, who played the role of Ross’ backup singers in her former group The Supremes. Combs eventually joined them on stage as well.
But the performance that seemed to get the most attention was in the form of an impromptu 20-second “Happy Birthday” sung by Beyoncé, who was called up by Ellis Ross.
With her hair pulled back and sporting a black dress, the “Lemonade” singer delivered a perfect rendition of the tune and used her signature vibrato to wow the crowd. There was also a big cheer when she sang the words “happy birthday, Miss Ross.”
“A queen celebrating a queen. I can only hope to be this fly at 75,” a Twitter user wrote about the clip on Wednesday.
Other celebrities in attendance included Chris Rock, Stevie Wonder, DJ Khaled, T.I., Gabrielle Union, Gayle King, Berry Gordy and Teyana Taylor.
Plus, on Tuesday afternoon, before the party, Ellis Ross honored her mother on Instagram and expressed her adoration.
“HAPPY 75 MAMA,” she wrote. i think this might be my favorite picture of you as @dianaross, if it’s even possible to choose. i have other favorite pics of you as my mama. i love you to the moon and back. i think you’re pretty great. keep doing what you’re doing mom, it’s working.”
