“T.I. and Tiny: Friends and Family Hustle” star Toya Wright recently swapped out her long tresses for an edgy bob, setting social media abuzz.
Spring is officially here, and people are apparently opting for more light-weight hairdos, including Miss Wright herself. She’s often seen sporting long hair as her signature style, but now she decided to go for a shorter look.
The 36-year-old mother of two took to Instagram on Thursday evening and debuted her shoulder-length bob. She decided to keep it simple by wearing it jet black, straying away from hair color or highlights. She also went for a soft-glam makeup look, including shimmer eye makeup and a nude lippie. The reality star also showed off her vibrant neon green nails that she’s rocking for the spring.
“Swipe to see my neon nails ….. I love my nails #altnailtech ,” Wright wrote in her caption.
Supporters of the star were in love with her shorter ‘do while also fawning over her dashing nail color.
“Looking Great Ms. Wright!” one fan exclaimed. “You know that hair stay laid hunty !”
Another fan commented underneath Wright’s post. “Ya nails is always poppin. The bob is poppin too. Always .”
“Yessss @toyawright I love your hair ! You look so much younger with short hair oh n I like the nails I’m wearing the same color ,” someone else commented.
New seasons tend to spark new changes, and for Wright it was seemingly a new hairdo. The reality television veteran has also been hitting the gym lately after setting a weight-loss goal of 15 pounds. She indicated to fans that she was determined to get back in shape after giving birth to her now-1-year-old daughter Reign Rushing last year.
Wright also prefers to stay in shape due to her existing health issues. In February 2017 she got candid about her struggle with fibroids. She told People magazine that she dealt with excruciating fibroids pain but eating well and working helped lessen it some.
“I had to scale back and eat healthier things like fish and salads,” she explained. “I found exercising has been more helpful in relieving the symptoms.”
She continued, “I do a lot of cardio, like walking and cycling. At that time of the month, the fibroids flare up, and when I exercise it helps me not feel so much pain.”
