“This is the partnership of a lifetime for me,” she said in a statement. “Adidas has had tremendous success in pushing creative boundaries. The “Lemonade” creator launched Ivy Park in 2106 with the British retailer Topshop but  bought them out last year from its parent company Arcadia Group after the chairman Philip Green was accused of sexual harassment and racism. Beyoncé took sole ownership of Ivy Park since then, which her new partners acknowledged in a statement.

“This partnership respects Beyoncé’s ownership of her company, which continues her journey as one of the first black women to be the sole owner of an athleisure brand,” the statement from Adidas read.

The news of the deal comes on the heels of a report that says Beyoncé is currently working on new music. But according to a Us Weekly source, she isn’t crafting a full album but a couple of new tracks [for] a deluxe LP filled with old songs.

On top of that, the singer will release a documentary on Netflix that’ll cover her famous 2018 Coachella performance, which people are still talking about.

Additionally, Beyoncé can be heard on the big screen this summer, since she voiced the part of Nala in the remake of Disney’s “The Lion King.” That movie hits theaters on July 19.
