When it comes to the battle of the Balenciaga shirts, another round of “Who Wore It Best” is in order.
In one corner, there’s veteran rapper Lil’ Kim, and in the other stands “Love & Hip-Hop Hollywood” star Nikki Mudarris.
Kim kept her look monochromatic and paired the black Balenciaga monogram print fitted crewneck T-shirt with Lace Tex pants by Shane Justin, over-the-knee black boots and a matching Balenciaga purse. Letting the outfit do the talking, she kept her makeup relatively light by sporting a nude lip and a contoured face but adding dramatic false lashes, compliments of Beat by Twiggy.
The rapper was decked out for her performance Saturday, March 23, with Fat Joe, Remy Ma, The Lox, State Property and Lil’ Mo at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
The photo coincided with the announcement of her new single “Go Awff,” which will be part of her first new LP in nearly 15 years.
“Drip Too Hard | My boo @beatbytwiggy @danteblandshaw @shanejustin | ‘Go Awff’ Video out Friday | New Album ‘9’ drops May 17th #goawff,” Kim revealed.
Meanwhile, the VH1 reality star also kept things in the black family for her Balenciaga-clad ‘fit.
Mudarris paired her look with black pants and Balenciaga boots that perfectly matched her shirt. She complemented the look with a white bag and ski rectangle sunglasses by Balenciaga, too. Her makeup also focused on the nude look, with a glossy lip completing her face.
“Expensive habits, Expensive b—h #BalenciagaMama,” she captioned her photo-op last Saturday.
The moment finally rolled around where fans gave their opinions on which celebrity wore their Balenciaga the best. The overwhelming majority crowned Kim the winner.
“KIM! These accessories made it!”
“KiM because she’s giving me her Malibu Barbie Vibes #TheNakedTruth #GoAwff.”
“Nikki only because I like the leather pants over the patent leather.”
“Kim forsure Nikki over did it w the shoes.”
“I liked Nikki’s boots better but Kim purse hit harder . Besides that can’t say one wore it better than the other ! They was both cute .”
