Lil Scrappy and Bambi‘s baby boy just reached a new milestone.
The 6-month-old recently began crawling, leaving fans amazed by the infant’s ostensibly rapid development. The “Crime Mob” rapper took to his Instagram feed on Sunday evening with a sweet video of his son crawling around in what looked to be the child’s room.
The “Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta” actor can be heard in the background of the clip encouraging his son to crawl to him, saying, “Come on daddy, come here big man,” while his wife Bambi is the apparent person recording their son’s new milestone.
The Atlanta native, who waswheelchair-bound for months after experiencing a severe car accident last year, expressed how grateful he was to see his 6-month-old hit a new milepost.
“Man I woke up way more grateful than I did yesterday, I thank and praise God for my family, ” Scrappy wrote. “Look at my lil man and how God has blessed me to see him crawl I could of died but I’m here. … be grateful for what The Big God has next for you.”
Fans applauded the “I’m a King” rapper’s inspiring message, while others marveled over the infant’s development.
“You’re a great dad who is unashamed to show love to your kids and family I commend you brotha .”
“Beautiful you said the right words God is everything @reallilscrappy proud to see you a happy daddy.”
“Seems like they just welcomed him in the world. Oh my how time flies.”
“He is crawling now wow. Just seem like he was born yesterday .”
“Good gracious he’s crawling and growing so fast!”
According to Joni Redlich, DPT of “Kid PT” pediatric center in Somerville, New Jersey, the average age for infants to began crawling is “between eight and 10 months.”
“Everything with babies, there is a huge range, so generally between eight and 10 months we want to see the kids mobile in some way, whether that’s the classic hands-and-knees crawl or some of variation, like army crawling on their bellies,” Redlich told Today in October 2018.
Lil Scrappy and his wife Bambi welcomed their baby Breland into the world last September on his mother Momma Dee’s birthday. Bambi delivered their son in just three pushes.
Nowadays, the “Money in the Bank” artist seemingly appreciates being on his father duties.
“This is why I love being a dad, my kids really give me that attention and love that a parent needs lol,” he wrote in an Instagram post in February, tagging his son and 14-year-old daughter Emani. “@princebreland @official_emanii love y’all.”
