Porsha Williams welcomed her baby girl Pilar Jhena’ into the world three weeks ago via c-section and she seems as if she’s in no rush to slim back down. In doing that, she’s getting lots of praise from her followers.
“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star on Friday shared a series of photos ahead of her date night with fiancé Dennis McKinley.
“Date night with my love ‘Momma gotta have a life too’ #Fiance #PjsParents #MommaSteppinOut,” Williams captioned the images, which notably had her post-partum body on display.
Williams smiled alongside her man ahead of a night that included a gift of McKinley’s signature bouquets he’s been showering his reality TV star woman with since they began dating. The Original Hot Dog Factory owner took the mother of his child out to dine on one of her favorites, raw oysters. But he didn’t want a part of them according to his Instagram Story.
“I’m good @porsha4real. Enjoy!” he wrote on a photo he snapped of his girl doctoring up some oysters.
“Yes, lawd, oysters! Yum, yum! Come to mama!” Williams says in a video she took of her spread.
But while the actual date night activities were sweet, fans remarked on how appreciative they were of Williams not trying to flatten out her belly in the photos she uploaded to Instagram.
“Thank you for not hiding your postpartum body. You still popping Boo!!!”
“@softestlips Chile it is what it is we gotta enjoy life, ” Williams replied.
And there was more praise where that came from.
“@softestlips for real! Shout out to @porsha4real for normalizing childbirth!!! No need for all that snatched 6 days later mess. Any woman who has ever given birth and parented a newborn knows that mess is not normal!”
“Thank you for being so transparent in what a postpartum body looks like ”
“@softestlips seriously us new mamas appreciate this so much. Specially new ones that didn’t ‘snap back’ right away. So beautiful ”
Williams has made it clear she’s not in a rush to get back into pre-baby shape. When she posted on her Instagram Story last week about Savage x Fenty lingerie she remarked, “I’ll be working out when I get to it.”
