Ashanti may be known for her blatant sex appeal, but she’s also infamous for her cutting-edge fashions.
The Grammy Award-winning singer was in Los Angeles this week shooting a music video for her “Pretty Little Thing” song featuring music artist Afro B. She apparently created the song as part of her clothing campaign for her swimwear collection with online boutique PrettyLittleThing.
Seemingly between takes shooting her video, the R&B artist also uploaded a chain of pictures flexing her beauty all over social media, sporting all-white wear. She rocked a white, long-sleeved ruched top with a matching miniskirt. The two-piece clothing set revealed the star’s super toned abs and killer legs.
She completed her summer look with a sky blue finger nail polish, an embellished ring set, diamond stud earrings, black-framed aviator sunglasses and long wet wavy beach tresses.
Ashanti captioned the first with a vanilla ice cream cone and wrote via Instagram in the second photo, “So when’s the Video for ‘Pretty little Thing’ coming out?”
Fans went wild over the star’s sexy photos and haute look.
“Damnnnn your thick 🍑 I swear days are cold without u on here 😩”
“Thought u was shorty from Snowfall last episode 😍 #SoSexy #SoBeautiful #Superbad 🤤”
“Not the all white ma 🔥 just so damn bad beautiful and amazing marry me”
“Looking damn good miss Ashanti ❤️ girl you know you be slaying!”
Ashanti premiered her “Pretty Little Thing” music on social media Friday, August 23, at 10 a.m.
The release comes nearly two months after she released her PrettyLittleThing x Ashanti collection on July 1. The line featured 74 different swimwear pieces, ranging from sizes 6 to 26, catering to a multitude of different women.
“This collection is for everyone!” she told BET during an interview in late June. “The confident girl, the sassy girl, the classy girl, the sexy girl, the turn up girl….the girl that doesn’t follow the crowd but stands out in the crowd.”
The 38-year-old added that her collection was inspired by the different places she’s recently traveled, saying, “I travel around the world to so many tropical places. I wanted pieces that felt exotic and global. The Amazon meets the Carribean. I wanted pieces that would empower women. … We created the line wanting to give options, so you can mix and match pieces and create a bunch of different looks.”
As for music, the R&B artist just dropped a new music video with Soca artist Machel Montano a few weeks ago for the uptempo single “The Road.” The single is available on all streaming platforms
